Dio Brando personality type is ENTP, and the Yellow King is a Jungian archetype of the King, and so to me it seems that he's a perfect example of an ENTP that has been thrown into the world of Twin Peaks. The way that he's describing himself to her at the beginning of the episode is almost like a description of the ENTP personality type. He's just this image of himself that he's projecting, and I think that anything that happens in Twin Peaks happens because people are projecting themselves onto it. And I think that's useful to take from the way that I approached the character, because I feel like a lot of other people have tried to make a character like this and they've found a way to make it work, but I don't think that they're necessarily true to the nature of how somebody like this would be. So I felt like, okay, let's try this, and let's see what happens.
Carey: Yes. It's interesting that you say that. In the pilot, we see a couple of different versions of this character, and we see a group of people who have been affected by the presence of this character, so there's a form of possession here.
