I am not an INTP. I am a S type, which is an ISTP. I agree with the description of this type as logical, rational, and analytical, as well as the preference for solving problems on their own. I also don’t like being told what to do, but I don’t think I’m quite as independent as the INTP.
I tend to be more of the “helper” type than the “doer” type. I have a creative side, so I like to make things up and get my hands dirty. This makes me a lot more of a social butterfly than some people who like to work alone.
When I was younger, I was an avid reader. I read every book in the house and mine were all over the place.
