Ursus personality type is INTP, and the more I read about INTP’s, the more I realized how much I fit.
Which INTP personality type do you think I am?
The INTP personality type is hard to pin down. A lot of the descriptions I read about INTPs had some good characteristics, but also some that were not so nice. I was worried that I was an extremist, or a weirdo.
The best description of an INTP I read was from an article by a psychotherapist named Laurence Gonzales. He described INTPs as:
Independent and self-reliant.
Introspective and analytical.
Imaginative and curious.
Original and creative.
The problem is that each of those descriptions might be used to describe a different personality type. So I was relieved to read that the INTP personality type is actually defined by the Myers-Briggs test. That definition is:
Introverted, iNtuitive, Thinking with Perceiving (INTJ) personality type.
