Like most of the Yakuza family, Yasuko is a bossy and authoritative figure amongst the clan. She has a scary demeanor and she can be, at times, extremely violent and ruthless, especially to those who cause her problems. She is very dominant and does not tolerate defiance from others. Her bossiness can also be seen as a form of jealousy as she often tries to show her love to her mother but is not accepted. She is very protective of her younger sister, Yuki. Like most of the Yakuza family, she loves and cares deeply for her brothers and sisters and is fiercely loyal to them. Her relation to her brothers and sisters is very complex, as she grew up with them and has a close relationship with them but they also look down on her as the "weak sister".
Yasuko is very close to her mother as they are very similar in personality. They both care deeply for their family and their clan. She also loves her cousin, Kanae, as she feels sorry for her because of her younger brother's death.
