OGong personality type is INTP, but with an added ENFP tinge. ISTP, INFJ, and ENFP are all very similar in terms of how they function, but we have a different perspective on the world. This is likely why many INTPs (particularly those who grew up as ISTPs) find ENFPs a bit obnoxious.
Socialization as an INFJ
INFJs are natural leaders. They need to be in the center of attention, and they need to be the one to make the decisions. If they are in a group of 5, they’ll be the one to lead the discussion and make all the decisions. They will take on the job of being a spokesperson, and they don’t want to be the person who’s accountable for things not getting done. They typically are not good communicators in a group setting, because they don’t want to be the one to say “no.” They just want everyone else to say “yes” to whatever they propose.
This is why INFJs tend to have difficulty in groups.
