How did this character come about?
In 2015 I was doing an internship with Nintendo, and they were looking for a new Luigi character.
I wanted to hear his voice, so when they asked me to audition I went in and did a few lines and they were like, "Oh, you sound like Luigi."
They gave me the role, and now I'm the new Luigi.
Why did you want to take on the role?
I've always loved Luigi's character in Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros.
I also have a lot of friends who are gamers and they keep telling me, "Oh, Luigi is so cool." "I mean, he's the only one who can actually jump and double jump.
