The wind was cold and frosty as it whipped around the young girl as she raced through the forest. Her blonde hair whipped around her face as she gasped for breath. She was young and her face was flushed from the cold air. Her blue eyes were wide as she looked around. Her mouth was hanging open as she looked for anything that could help her. She could hear the shouts of the men behind her, but she dared not slow down. Not yet, at least. They were too close, too close for her to run.
