Daiki Mamura personality type is INTP, and he's a genius, and he's a mystery! But he's also a little bit goofy! He's like a crazy genius. He's just fun to write, and I've been enjoying writing him. We're still working on the mystery aspect of him.
IGN: Can you tell us about his relationship with Kaoru? They're not rivals, but they're not friends either.
Kaiji: Yeah, they're definitely not friends. But they do get along well in general. I think they both take a lot of things seriously, and they're both very intelligent, but they have different personalities. I guess it's sort of a non-relationship!
IGN: I'm curious about how you are going to keep up the series when your main character is in another country for half the time. How is this going to work?
Kaiji: I think we've only had one episode where he's gone back to Japan, and that was kind of a special case. I don't know if we'll ever see Kaoru again, but that aside, the other characters are in Japan whenever we need them to be.
