Caregiver personality type is ESFJ, so she's very much a people pleaser. She's also not much of an extrovert, so she'll have a tough time handing over the reins to her daughter. If she doesn't have the courage to do it, she'll likely end up resenting her daughter for it sooner or later. If she does hand over the reins, she'll have to put up with the kind of things her daughter says and does.
I think that's a tough one. If you don't have the courage to be a leader, then don't do it. I can see where that hurts your daughter's feelings, but it's better for her to learn that lesson early instead of later.
