Gentle Giant personality type is ISFP, and is a rarer type. I believe since ISFP is less common, it is probably less common to be an ISFP who has experienced the loss of a loved one.
I’m not sure if that’s true, but it’s what I’ve learned through my own experiences.
When I look at how the Gentle Giant personality type is portrayed in pop culture, the first thing that happens is the Gentle Giant character is usually portrayed as a noble or brave hero.
For example, in the movie The Shawshank Redemption, Andy Dufresne is depicted as a noble and courageous man who is a Gentle Giant. He literally saves other men from death row, and is willing to risk his own life to protect others.
These are characteristics that are true of all ISFP’s. No matter what role the Gentle Giant takes on in a film, the primary goal is to do good for others, or save someone from danger.
The other thing about the Gentle Giant is that he isn’t really liked in the film. On the surface he seems like a good guy, but underneath he’s usually kind of a jerk.
