God personality type is INFJ, my first letter is J, and there’s a world of difference between J and i.
And so, the reason for the name change is that my first book was about my own personality type, and I had a lot of people (especially family) saying, “Oh you’re so INFJ.” And my second book was about the INFP. And people were saying, “Oh you’re so INFP.”
And I thought well, if I’m going to be writing these books… nobody wants to read about someone who looks exactly like them.
So I wanted to make sure that the characters in these books are different enough that they’re interesting and different enough that they stand out.
So, here we go.
Viola: Can you tell us a little bit about your background?
CJ: I was born and raised in upstate New York and I went to school in Pennsylvania. I studied theater in college and I met my husband in college. We got married, we moved to New York City, and now we live in Connecticut.
