Goth personality type is ISFP, the creative introvert. This might sound like the same type you’d find on a Myers-Briggs test, but this is far from the truth. ISFPs are not “shy,” but nor are they outgoing. They are quiet, reserved and this can lead to a misinterpretation of their true personality.
This introvert is rarely found in bars, preferring to pour their energy into their work. They tend to be very private and extremely hardworking, sensing that their time is best spent alone. This does not mean that they are anti-social, it just means that they are shy.
However, ISFPs are often misunderstood by the world around them because of their reserved nature. People often label them as “shy” or “embarrassed” when in fact they are just very introverted.
ISFPs are prone to depression, due to their tendency to withdraw from the world around them. They may dislike being around people, preferring to be alone in their own thoughts. They will often use this as an excuse to avoid social situations.
