An INTP’s true nature is that of a “thinking” type; however, their intuition is frequently strong enough to allow them to see both sides of an issue or dilemma before reaching a consensus. INTPs are highly rational and analytical, but are also very open-minded and appreciate novelty. They have a tendency to be somewhat self-centered, but can also be quite selfless at times.
Numerous studies have shown that INTPs are often among the most socially developed of all types, yet they are capable of remaining very private in their own thoughts. The INTP is capable of being very witty and well-spoken in conversation, but may also be more reticent with others than other types.
Relationships with INTPs can often be complex and challenging. They are imaginative and often highly creative individuals who can be insightful and insightful.
