Roger Smith personality type is INTP, but he also has a few more traits that I have come to identify as being INTJ.
According to the Myers Briggs test, he is named the “INTP” type. This is interesting because INTPs are not generally very extroverted, but are very independent, logical, and focused on the future.
“INTP” is a type designation. People are complex. They are not just one thing. Smith was likely an INTJ, with extra emphasis on the I (rather than the N).
There are many ways to describe this personality type, but I will use my own personal experience with Smith.
Smith was very focused on his work. He would spend hours upon hours creating new ideas and creating new ways to make work more efficient. He would spend all day at the office with his head down working.
He was very methodical and logical in his approach to work. He would spend all day crunching numbers and coming up with ideas. He would make many prototypes with different methods of doing things.
He was the type of person that would work on something for months before moving on to another project.
