Valerie Gray / Red Huntress personality type is ESTJ, but I don’t think that’s entirely accurate (and it’s not like I know that much about ESTJs — I’m mostly filling in the blanks). Basically, ESTJs tend to be the stereotypical hard-working, stubborn, and efficient people who take their jobs and responsibilities very seriously. As such, they tend to be the kind of people who keep their own counsel and don’t make a lot of small talk.
Not that Valerie is all about efficiency and hard work. Actually, her focus is on finding solutions to problems and helping others in her community. That’s why she’s running for council in the first place: she wants to help her community and improve quality of life in the area — and that’s what we’ll see a lot of in this novel.
I’m not sure if I was supposed to see the ESTJ part, but I did. It also seems obvious to me that Valerie’s ESTJ personality is integral to the story — when the time comes, she shows herself to be very capable and effective when it comes to speaking her mind and speaking up for her convictions.
