Bjorn Lomborg personality type is INTP, which is one of the 16 Myers-Briggs® personality types. Not surprisingly, the INTP-type is also among the most common types in the world.
INTPs are known for being “the designers”—they are the ones who build things, who are eager to test ideas, and who are never satisfied with what they’ve already created. They thrive on problem-solving, and are often asked to be part of teams that create new systems or processes.
The INTP’s natural inclination is to think in terms of the whole system—the effects of a change in one part of the system can reverberate throughout the entire system. One such effect of such a change could be that the new system is not as efficient as the old system! This can be hard for INTPs to understand, and they may even consider the new system to be inferior to the old system, even though it is better in some ways.
