In my mind, I am a sports fan. I enjoy basketball, football, soccer, baseball, golf, and yes, even hockey. I love the action of a game, the strategy of a game, and the outcome of a game. I also love to dissect a sports team and look for the best player on the team, the best play on the team, and the best overall player on the team.
I have a problem with believing in labels. I think all people are unique and have unique gifts to offer the world around them. I believe in uniqueness and individuality. In fact, I believe in it so much that when my son was born I named him “Unique” for a reason.
I have been told by some that I am a bit of a dreamer and that I am not very practical and that I am not good at following through on things. This is not 100% true. I am very practical and I do follow through on things. However, I can get caught up in my own world and daydream and not be 100% focused on doing something or getting something done. This is also not true.
