Robert Herjavec is a Canadian-American businessperson, investor, television personality, philanthropist, and television host. He is best known for his role as host of the ABC reality television series Dancing with the Stars, which he has hosted since the show’s inception in 2005.
Herjavec was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He is an only child and moved to Scarborough, Ontario, Canada at the age of five. Herjavec attended St. Mark’s College School, where he graduated in 1981. He then attended York University in Toronto where he received a Bachelor of Commerce degree in finance, graduating in 1987. While attending York University, he was a member of university’s varsity ice hockey team.
