So let’s start by defining what coaching really is. Anyone who has ever watched sports or seen a movie about professional sports knows that coaches are important to the success of the team. The job of the coach is to motivate the team by inspiring them, giving them direction, keeping them focused on the ultimate goal, and helping them work together in order to achieve that goal. Coaches are excellent at all of these things because they know that they are supposed to help people to improve, and they know how to motivate people who are not only adults but also children.
