Sam "The Squid" Dullard personality type is INTP, if you want to call it that. He's just a really good "theming" type. That is, he likes to make up his own system of categorizing people, and then make up names for it. His "theming" system is based around the idea that all people are basically the same, and that you can simplify their traits and behaviors to a few basic categories. He's even got a name for the categories: "types".
I'll admit that he's not entirely wrong. I've been known to use "type" terms myself, where I'm trying to simplify someone's behavior into a single, simple category. It's easy to do when you're talking about a person's behavior in a particular setting. It can get more difficult when you're talking about a person's behavior in general.
But, despite this, Sam was completely wrong in his explanation of the "types" that he uses to categorize people. He either:
Misremembered the idea of "types", or
Was confusing "types" with "sub-types".
I don't know which of those it is.
