Aonuma Shun personality type is INTP, which is similar to me. As for his weaknesses, I think that he is an ENFP. The type that will always try to fix anything that is broken, but sometimes neglect to prepare for the future. He seemed to neglect to make sure Zelda was ready to take care of herself after Ocarina of Time, which lead to her being taken by Ganondorf. He seemed to neglect to make sure Link would be ready to take care of himself, which lead to his death in Twilight Princess.
But this also makes his personality more tragic. He has the characteristics of an INTP, but it's because he's too much of an ENFP that he can't see when he's making mistakes, which causes him to not learn from them. He just keeps trying to fix whatever caused the problem in the first place, instead of looking at the bigger picture. It's why he seems so intense in OoT and in TLoZ. He's always in total control, but he's so caught up in trying to fix everything that he doesn't realize that there are bigger things around him. Or perhaps he does realize this, but due to his personality he can't take action.
