Sam Goode personality type is INTP, more than likely ENTP or INTP. I've gotten e-mails from more than one woman who's gotten the impression that I was trying to lure them into a relationship, and I've gotten quite a few e-mails from women who think I'm a man and want to know what I am.
I do care for people, but I don't care for relationships. I'm more of a loner than not, and I prefer to be with my pets or my computers. Life is too short to waste on someone you're not attracted to. That does mean that I don't like people (and as such, I don't like relationships), but it also means that I value my time, and I prefer to spend it on things that I enjoy or find rewarding.
You can tell whether I like you enough to date you by whether I ask you out on a date and whether we go out on a date. But you can't tell whether I like you enough to have a relationship with you by whether you ask me out on a date. It's just not that simple.
In short, if you're talking about dating, then dating is what it is.
