Alex personality type is INFP, but it is difficult to find out which is the real type. While there are two descriptions of the INFP type in the MBTI Handbooks, it is not clear which one is perfect for each person.
First, let’s look at the description of the INFP type in the ISTPs section of the MBTI Handbook.
“The Idealist sees possibilities with simplicity, enthusiasm, and confidence. He is interested in new ideas and possibilities with a positive attitude. He can have a certain tendency to idealize people and situations, but he is usually able to discern reality from fantasy. He sees relationships with others in terms of his own inner potentials or ideals.”
The description of the INFP type in the ESTJs section of the MBTI Handbook is different.
