Tristan personality type is ENFJ, the Protector. I’ve seen people like this in their lives, and it’s not always easy to understand their motivations.
Here are some of the reasons I think they do what they do.
1. Introversion + Extroversion
Their Introversion is not a weakness. Their Introversion is a strength. It is a big part of who they are. They have a hard time making friends and being social, and they have a hard time saying what they want. They’re not shy or anxious – they just have a hard time being social most of the time.
Extroversion is a strength, too. They have a hard time with being alone most of the time, so they surround themselves with people. They’re social and friendly, but they don’t feel comfortable being alone for extended periods of time.
2. Teacher/Helper Spirit
A lot of J-types have a Teacher/Helper Spirit. They want to teach and help people, and they’re often very good at it. It makes them feel good to help people, and it also makes them feel good about themselves. They know how to make people happy.
