Ayase personality type is INTP, and she's also one of the few people I've ever seen actually look like what you'd expect an anime character to look like based on their personality.
She has the default eyes, the default hairstyle (though it is quite plain and doesn't match her face), and the default way of walking (she even has the default greeting).
Her relationships with other characters are also pretty standard, but her relationship with Haruhi was always one of my favorite parts of the show. It's a bit unusual to have a female INTP as a romantic interest, but Haruhi is a pretty good example of a good INTP relationship.
So let's talk about Haruhi for a moment.
