When Haruto became the Student Council President of Kyoto University, Rena was put in charge of the Student Council's public relations.
Rena is one of the few characters on the show who has not been spoiled by the ending of the first season. However, in the manga, she is seen with her eyes closed and lips pursed, apparently in deep thought. This is a hint that she might be in love with Haruto. However, this is never confirmed or denied in any of the media (except Seiyū's interviews).
