Patrice Désilets personality type is INTP, which also explains his misanthropic viewpoint. He seems to have been a very sensitive child, but had a hard time relating to others. He had a few friends, but was always very suspicious of them. He was a loner who felt a strong need to protect himself from the people around him. Knowing this about him, it is quite possible that he was abused as a child, and this may have contributed to his subsequent misanthropy.
When he was a teenager he began playing video games. While he was playing, he frequently became immersed in the role-playing aspect of the game. He imagined that he was the hero of the game, and as such he made heroic decisions. He started to feel as though he had some sort of magical power, and had some sort of responsibility to use this power for good. As he began to play more games, he began to feel more powerful and important. Over time he began to develop the idea that he was "enlightened". Over time, his power increased so much that he began to feel that he was invincible. He could not be killed, so was not afraid of his enemies.
