He was not only smart, but he was very charismatic. He had a great speaking voice, and could convince people to do almost anything. He would do this with his voice alone, but soon he would be able to use it to cause simple tasks to seem so much more difficult.
He never had much interest in women, until he met the beautiful Gyrid. She was the daughter of the Earl of Norway, and she was beautiful. It was not long before Sweyn fell in love with her. However, things were not easy for them. Her father did not approve of them dating, and was not shy about it.
