Biography
Mute's life prior to the portal incident was shown in the episode "The Three Mute Brothers". As a child his parents dressed him up as a girl, calling him "Betty", to help him play with other children. When the portal opened, he felt he was drawn towards it, but his brother tried to stop him. Mute, however, was determined to go through it. He found himself in a white void, with his brother behind him. The portal closed and he was covered in a blue glow. Mute then woke up in a hospital, where he was told he had been through a portal.
Season 1
Mute was living in the hospital when he first encountered the boys. He was very rude to them and they quickly decided to avoid him. The first time they encountered him they were playing poker with the other patients. He won all the money from them and then proceeded to insult them.
