Takao Kamogawa is a fictional character from Square Enix's visual novel/role-playing game, Clannad. He is voiced by Masaya Onosaka in the Japanese version of the game. Takao, along with his best friend Tomoya Okazaki and childhood friend Kyou, live in the small town of Okazaki where they attend school and go to school functions together. He and Kyou are childhood friends and even though they were never in the same grade, they were always together and would hang out together. Tomoya is one year older, and he and Takao have known each other since they were 5 years old. After Kyou's disappearance, Takao and Tomoya quickly became best friends as they tried to work through their grief together.
