Gearsper personality type is INFP, or introverted, intuitive, feeling, and perceiving. I have found that INFPs often have a hard time understanding the mechanics of the world around them. This is why they often feel lost and confused, and why they feel so much anxiety and stress.
Unfortunately, for many years, the majority of the available literature on personality type has been categorized by Jung's theory of types. This system makes the INFP seem neurotic and over-intellectualized.
I have a few friends who are ISTP extroverts. I have found that they often have a hard time understanding the INFP personality type, as well as why the INFP personality type feels so lost and confused. They often think it is their fault, rather than the fault of the world around them.
I have recently found a solution to this problem, and I believe it can be put into a simple acronym:
INFP – Introverted, intuitive, feeling, and perceiver.
This acronym is not meant to be a scientific term, but rather a metaphor for understanding the INFP personality type. Each letter stands for a different aspect of the personality type.
