Darquesse personality type is ENTJ, or the "Einstein." I realize that not everyone will agree with my interpretation of the various MBTI personality types, but it is what it is. More importantly, it's based on my own experience as a human being, and I have learned that you do need to try and understand where people are coming from. After all, we all have our own perspectives and reasons for doing things the way we do.
If you read the MBTI, then you will understand why the Arquette sisters are so different. They are ENTJ, or "the Extrovert." Both of them are extremely extroverted in personality. This means that they definitely prefer to be around people. In fact, they seem to be driven by the desire to make others happy. They want to be known and liked by many people, and they want to influence the world in a positive way.
It makes sense, then, that they decided to make a film about transgender issues. It could have been a film about a transgender male, but instead they chose to focus on a transgender female. This is because they realized that most people don't know much about transgender issues, and they wanted to educate people on this very serious matter.
