Adam Kovic personality type is ISTP, this is not a new observation.
I am not saying ISTP's don't make mistakes. We all make them! But since I agree with your observations I am going to say they are not as bad as you make them out to be.
I think the argument is more about what type of mistakes are acceptable, or unacceptable. ISTP's are pretty good at self-conciously defending themselves against what they perceive as others judging them for their mistakes. They are also pretty good at defending themselves against other ISTP's judging them because of their mistakes.
It is not that the ISTP's don't make mistakes, it is that they are pretty good at covering them up. This is not always bad for the ISTP, sometimes it is good.
But the self-deception is the problem.
I think ISTP's are better represented in Hollywood than you may realize. I think it is important to have a balance between the types here on this forum.
The ISTP's are great actors! They are great at being what they are being, which is an ISTP.
