Listening to the type and type-based disorders, I would say that the problem is mainly caused by one of the inner conflicts that the ENTP struggles with: desire to be accepted as an independent individual (and not as a part of a group) and desire to do something new and creative. The ENTP's natural ability to apply logic to the situation may well solve the conflict, but since this can be a source of anxiety for the ENTP, they may not see a way out of their dilemma.
Because ENTPs are not so good at recognizing their own emotions and feelings, they may not realize that they have had a problem with seeking the acceptance of others, and it seems that this issue is connected to the issue of cognitive disorganization (see Environmental factors on the Personality page). The ENTP is also very logical and analytical, so they may not be able to "connect" with their own emotions, which only makes them self-conscious about their own emotions and this can lead to even more anxiety. In my opinion, this can be a chain-reaction.
