Grandayy personality type is INTP, so at least that’s something I have in common with a person who is no doubt at least as interesting (and possibly a lot more interesting) than I am.

Part of what makes people like me (INTP) so fascinating is that we tend to be so different from the typical person. This is, in part, because the typical person is not like us and not similar to us.
This poses a couple of problems for people who want to understand INTPs. For one thing, they are trying to make a generalization about a group of people, which is hard enough when it’s made about an entire population. But when you’re talking about a population of individual people, it gets even trickier.
The second problem is that the generalizations about INTPs that really do apply to lots of people don’t really apply to me. I am, for example, not very interested in statistics, and I don’t particularly enjoy reading academic papers.
