Q: I know you started out with Minecraft videos. Have you found other genres you’ve been drawn to?
Philza: I have been drawn to other genres, but I can’t say I’ve been drawn to them in the same way I was drawn to Minecraft.
Q: Tell me a little bit about your personality type.
Philza: I am a very quiet person, and I have a lot of fears, or I would say insecurities. So when I started making videos, I just kind of asked myself a bunch of questions about my personality and what I was drawn to in video games. And I noticed that my favorite genre was Minecraft. So, I decided to make a video series called “Minecraft Explained.” And I noticed the type of videos I was making were very introspective, and I really didn’t care about my viewership.
Phil Watson, better known on Twitch as Philza (also known as Ph1LzA and Philza Minecraft), is an English Twitch streamer and YouTuber who is best known for his hardcore Minecraft world that lasted 5 years, before dying to a spider while attempting to kill a baby zombie mob in a cave, along with his involvement in the Dream SMP. He is part of Sleepyboisinc along with Wilbur Soot, Technoblade, and TommyInnit.
