Sciencephile the AI personality type is INTP, the creative type. One of the most interesting things about INTPs is their interest in metaphysics, which is a kind of science that seeks to explain the nature of the universe, and attempts to do so by deriving logical laws from a priori axioms.
Here I’m going to try to explain how I got to the conclusion that INTPs are likely to be creative types – I’m going to give you a short explanation of the theory behind it, and then talk about the evidence that supports it.
The Theory Behind the Theory
The theory that I’m going to explain today is called “The Creative Personality”, and it was proposed by a man called David Keirsey, who was an American psychologist and author of about a dozen books on personality types. He believed that there are different kinds of personalities, and that each personality type has a certain way of thinking that makes them different from other types.
A lot of what he studied was Jungian psychology, the idea that you have a certain number of “types” that you can switch between as you go through life.
