Bernard Albertson personality type is ENFJ, because his type is ENFJ. I’ve become convinced that this is the case for myself. More on that later in this section.
If you want to find out more about the MBTI, I recommend this book: QUEEN OF HEARTS: The REAL Story About the MBTI by Robert Kegan and Lisa Lahey. This book is very good at covering the historical background of the development of the MBTI as well as the modern day practice of it. I agree with much of what they have to say, but I would recommend reading it with an open mind. Also, I would recommend reading my book, Personality Myths, before reading this book. I think the myths presented in the book are what make this book worthwhile.
I think the MBTI is a useful tool for understanding personality differences. I think it is not nearly as useful as it is made out to be by its practitioners, or in popular culture (including movies and TV shows). Most of the time when I use the MBTI, I only remember about half of what I’ve learned. Sometimes this makes me wonder about the validity of MBTI.
Bernard George Albertson died in July of 2020 at the age of 82. He was disowned at the age of 17 and taught himself to read and write. He soon became an author, his various of his books written are 'Copper Penny', 'Angry Angel', 'A Widow's Courage', and various other books in diverse genres. Bernard posted a video during 2015 named "An Old Man's Advice", the video surfaced around the summer of 2020.
