What is the personality type of Antonio Damasio? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for Antonio Damasio from Psychology & Neuroscience and what is the personality traits.
Antonio Damasio personality type is INTP, not MBTI. He also did not know this himself until his mid-twenties. However, I personally think that "knowing" is different than "actually living" the knowledge, and I think it's possible that he had some early conscious experiences with certain traits of his personality type. I do believe that the MBTI test is flawed in many ways, but it does seem to accurately gather information on some aspects of personality that are otherwise very difficult to express in words, and in this way it is useful in helping people understand themselves better.
There are some other interesting things about Antonio Damasio's personality type. He's a whiz at using the "imagery" part of the MBTI, though he tends to be more literal than most people with this personality type would be. And his recommended personality type for women is ISTP, which is the only personality type that is usually labeled as "masculine" or "feminine" based on the MBTI.
Still, I think that the dichotomy between the two personality types is probably false, and that most people with this personality type are actually both INTP and ESTP, or something else along those lines.
