Pete Conrad personality type is ESTP, the "Engineer of the Extraverted Intuition." He is one of my all-time favorite astronauts. He was always up for any challenge. He had a quick mind, was fun to be around, and he loved to laugh. If you were with him you would laugh pretty much all of the time. He had a quick wit and he loved to engage in conversations about real things. When he was on the moon, he would often say to his crewmates, "Hey, let's go to the moon, let's have a picnic on the moon." He would say it so many times that they would start calling him "Moon Pete."
He loved to talk about the creative side of things, the artistic side of things, and he loved to build things. Even as an astronaut he loved to build things, he loved to build rockets, he loved to build things that would help us circle the earth. He was an Air Force pilot during the Korean War, and at one point he was assigned to fly a B-29 bomber. This is during the Korean War, right? So he gets this job. So he is flying around in this B-29 bomber.
