In my opinion, there is no such thing as a creative type. Creative people are creative. They are not creative until they have developed their creative abilities.
People who are creative are not more intelligent than anyone else. They may have a higher IQ than others, but not necessarily. Nor are they likely to be more imaginative. They can be imaginative, but many people would consider them to be plain dull. In fact, it is quite possible for someone to be imaginative and also intelligent – highly intelligent perhaps – yet not be known as an artist or an entrepreneur.
Novalis was the pseudonym and pen name of Georg Philipp Friedrich Freiherr von Hardenberg (2 May 1772 – 25 March 1801), a poet, author, mystic, and philosopher of Early German Romanticism. Hardenberg's professional work and university background, namely his study of mineralogy and management of salt mines in Saxony, was often ignored by his contemporary readers. The first studies showing important relations between his literary and professional works started in the 1960s.
