François Quesnay personality type is ISTJ, as are most of the men who were members of the French Academy of Sciences. I’m very close with three of those men.
They’re all very different from me but we share many traits in common. We’re all very hardworking and fact-driven. We prefer to be with people who are like us and who are also hardworking and fact-driven. We believe that all problems can be solved by finding the facts and trying to make sense of them. And we spend a lot of time thinking about the consequences of our actions — the best and worst possible outcomes of every single choice.
We also have a tendency to base our decisions on facts, not on our emotions. This makes us very good decision makers, but it also means that we are sometimes not very good at expressing our emotions.
For example, two of my ISTJ friends have children, and they both love their children very much. But they’re not very good at expressing that love. They’ll say things like “I love you,” but they don’t mean it.
François Quesnay (4 June 1694 – 16 December 1774) was a French economist and physician of the Physiocratic school. He is known for publishing the "Tableau économique" (Economic Table) in 1758, which provided the foundations of the ideas of the Physiocrats. This was perhaps the first work attempting to describe the workings of the economy in an analytical way, and as such can be viewed as one of the first important contributions to economic thought.
