    Paul Krugman
    INTJ

    INTJ (5w6)

Paul Krugman personality type is INTJ, and the one he most closely matches is INTJ. As such, he is a brilliant, analytical and logical thinker who is capable of seeing the big picture and coming up with creative solutions to complex problems. He is also very optimistic and can see the glass half full. These are positive qualities, but they are not enough to make him a good leader. As a leader, he would need to be able to inspire and motivate people, be inspirational, and be able to handle criticism and hard decisions.

The main reason I don't think he can be a good political leader is that he has the personality type of a "doer", not a "thinker". As a political leader, he would not be good at taking the time to develop his people and their ideas, or at listening to their concerns and then coming up with a solution. He would not be good at taking criticism, as evidenced by his tone in his article. He would not be good at making hard decisions, because he would not be able to look at the big picture. He would not be good at motivating people, because he would not be able to see their problems clearly.

Paul Robin Krugman (born February 28, 1953) is an American economist who is currently Distinguished Professor of Economics at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, and a columnist for The New York Times. In 2008, Krugman was awarded the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences for his contributions to New Trade Theory and New Economic Geography. Krugman was previously a professor of economics at MIT, and later at Princeton University.
