    Favaloro is a strong supporter of the theory of evolution, and has written several books on the subject. He has also expressed a belief in astrology, and in the "telepathic link between the mind of one animal and that of another". He believes that animals have personalities that are not necessarily similar to those of humans, but which are nonetheless "spiritual". In his book, "Odysseus and the Evolution of Consciousness", he writes how he believes that "all living beings can communicate with each other telepathically".

    Biography [ edit ]

    Favaloro was born in Buenos Aires on 31 August 1932. In 1952 he entered the University of Buenos Aires, where he received a degree in medicine in 1956. He trained at the National Institute of Aesthetics (1956–1957) and at the National Institute of Neurology (1957–1959). In 1959 he earned an MD from the University of Buenos Aires and a PhD in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Buenos Aires in 1970.
