Okay, I'm done with that. My point is that there are plenty of traits that are not necessarily necessary for success, but can make you more appealing to someone who is looking for what you have. The weird thing about personality types is that they are not limited to specific areas of life. They are generalizations about how people act, think, and feel. They can't be grafted onto a specific situation and be correct for it. The world is a crazy place. If you want to write a book about how to succeed in business, you can't assume that your readers will be ENTJ's. You have to assume that they will be a variety of ENTJ's.
I have been lucky enough to have been able to land jobs that I love, because I have been able to adapt my personality type to the work environment. In my current job as a technical writer, I am focused on helping other people learn about software.
