Howard the Alien personality type is INTP, which means he'll get things done by not physically trying to get them done. This is the result of his inferior function, Extraverted Intuition (Ne). Extraverted Intuition is the literal opposite of Introverted Intuition (Ni), and they're often at war. Extraverted Intuition wants to dream up new ideas, while Introverted Intuition wants to be realistic about how to get things done. That's why people with Ne are often very creative, but people with Ni are often very practical. If you want to get things done, try giving them advice.
