I Understood That Reference personality type is INTP, so I know what you are referring to, but your statement does not accurately describe my personality type. I am not sure exactly what you mean by your "exact description" of the other personality types, but yes, I have been described as a "Type 8". In fact, I was told this for years. The reason I wrote the original post was because I felt that it was a mis-conception that everyone has a type, and that this type culture is a disease that is being spread by the media. That is not the case. Some people have a "type", and many do not. My type culture is a disease that is being spread by the media because people are being mis-informed about the true nature of their personalities. It is a very difficult thing for me to explain because it is really hard for me to explain my own personality, and I am still learning about myself, but I will try. In regards to the statement you made about me being a "Type 8", lets make something clear here: The "Type 8" profile for an INTP is a very inaccurate description of my personality type. First of all, Type 8 is a black and white world.
