Arkas is first seen in the episode "The Arrival", where he was being attacked by The Light. He was saved by a group of Turtles who included Leo, Donnie, Mikey and April. Together, he and the Turtles helped defend the ship from The Light's attack, and he was shocked to learn that he was an alien that had been attacked by the aliens who attacked Earth. He told the Turtles that he had been found on the back of the ship and had been chained up there.
