And so they came up with a combination of a sports bar and a wine bar, which Schafer calls "a new kind of sports bar." It's not a bistro, but it's not a sports bar. It's an ode to the architecture of the past, which will carry on into the future. The place is operating on a busy summer weekday, with a band playing in the corner and a dedicated band of regulars cheering on their favorite team.
