George Wallace personality type is ESTJ, which means he is an Extraverted Thinking Judgment type. ESTJs are the "in control" of the situation. They can step up and take control of an argument or discussion, or step back and let the other person take the lead. ESTJs want to be in charge of their environment, and have a well-defined set of rules and guidelines they expect everyone to follow. They don't like "intellectual" discussions, preferring practical solutions. ESTJs tend to be practical and realistic, and prefer a well-defined plan of action to any sudden change. They are not very forgiving of others' mistakes or flaws. Once they have made a decision, they will stick with it until it is finished. They are very self-controlled, and do not allow their emotions to get in the way of their goals. ESTJs can be quite stubborn and hard to change their mind or opinion about something. They need a task or goal that is cut-and-dried to make them feel worthwhile. ESTJs need to feel a sense of accomplishment and control in order to feel emotionally secure. When things become a little too chaotic for their liking, they may feel as though they are losing control of their lives.
